GLOfacial: From Product Development to Sold-Out Launch
My Role
As Senior Copywriter, I helped shape GLOfacial from product development through launch. I named the device, developed its foundational product romance and messaging, and helped define how its technology, benefits, and point of difference would come to life for the consumer. From there, I partnered across product development, creative, e-commerce, social, and growth to build and execute the 360° launch strategy across product pages, email, paid and organic social, UGC, retailer marketing, campaign assets, and conversion-focused copy.
The Strategy
The creative challenge was translating complex technology into a story that was simple, ownable, and impossible to ignore. We built the messaging around three complementary ideas: visible transformation, easy-to-understand education, and the aspirational payoff of a professional-level facial experience at home.
For performance creative, I developed and tested distinct messaging angles—from the visceral “THAT just came out of my skin” reveal to accessible explanations like “a vortex vacuum for your pores” and benefit-led language centered on achieving the deepest, most satisfying cleanse. UGC, short-form video, branded creative, e-commerce copy, and lifecycle messaging carried the same core product story while adapting the hook and CTA to each stage of the customer journey.

ZenBubble: Turning a New Skincare Formula Into a Simple, Compelling Story
The Challenge
Introduce a hybrid toner-serum in a category where most consumers were unfamiliar with bi-phase skincare. The launch needed to communicate what the product was, why the two phases mattered, and where it belonged in an existing routine without making an innovative formula feel complicated. At the same time, the messaging had to resonate with both skincare enthusiasts looking for performance and consumers craving a simpler routine.
My Role
As Senior Copywriter, I helped shape the product story and creative direction from positioning through launch, translating the formula, ingredient technology, and sensorial experience into clear, consumer-first messaging. I developed the messaging architecture behind the campaign and brought it to life across e-commerce, email, paid and organic social, UGC, product education, and supporting launch assets. I also partnered cross-functionally to ensure the same core story carried cohesively across the customer journey while adapting copy for the needs of each channel.
The Strategy
Rather than over-explaining the science, we made the unfamiliar feel intuitive. The campaign centered on the simplicity of getting the benefits of two skincare steps in one, while the product's shake-to-activate format became a visual storytelling device that helped demonstrate what made ZenBubble different.
Creative testing explored three primary messaging territories: education around the bi-phase formula, routine simplification and lifestyle, and ingredient-led performance. UGC turned the bottle shake into an immediate visual hook, while copy connected Moringa, Cica, and Agastache to benefits consumers already understood: balanced hydration, calmer-looking skin, oil control, and a stronger-feeling skin barrier.
The result was a launch story that could educate without sounding clinical, sell performance without overwhelming the consumer, and make an unconventional product feel like an effortless addition to the routine.
